Finishing up a complete restoration of my 1979 MG Midget (1500), and had replaced the old carb with a re-manufactured Zenith-Stromberg 150 CD manual choke acquired from Paltech. On first installation, I wasn't able to get the rpm below 1200, but did check the timing (within specs).

Engine runs but not well and I am unable to tune/adjust/fix them even with Joe Curto's help on phone and email. So I need to send them to a pro for complete overhaul.
