I only have the burrs in it which are marked fine. It has a 12inch pulley for mtr. power with a handle for hand cranking. I found the Co. web site, not much info untill I contact them.

Associated built grinder restoration - I had posted some information earlier on Associated built and Montgomery Ward Co. sold burr mills and grinders and finally have the photos of my completed grain and flour grinder to post. I finished the restoration this spring and have run it at two shows now.

The biggest difference is how close you set the burrs - I would set them so close that they just start to make a grinding noise without any flour and back off slightly. I found a #2 mill at the antique mall yesterday for $80, it looked complete but dirty. After a serious cleaning I ran a half cup of wheat berries thru it & sifted the results.

Your mill was made around 1931 or so. You can get a galvanized hopper for the #60 mill that can be easily adapted to your mill as you can see in my pics. If you would like to build a separator, i can send detailed measurements and pics so you can see how to do that. Just let me know.
